- EXPLORING THE EMOTIONAL CONTENT IN COLOURS THROUGH SOUND.
A heady brew concocted out of three theories which have so far never been applied in practice “together”; the music of Colours reaches out to you at different levels both emotionally and intellectually.
Theory one: Each Colour has a deep connection with the mind and heart.
Theory two: Some keys in music have a better connection with certain emotions than others.
While there’s no conclusive evidence of this theory, various opinions by music analysts and composers attempt to connect them albeit, differently.
Theory three: That the music we hear as audiences always has a direct emotional connection, which is why we like some kinds of music over others.
Put it all together, and create some expressive music. You have the concept album, Colours by A/J. The colour chart is attached as release notes when you download the full album.
There you find out what each track stands for, and which key embellishes that particular mood. Albeit, with a few meanderings for the surprise element.
